Catalepsy has been played on NTS shows including A Fist in the Face of God presents: Midnite Madness, with An Offering first played on 12 September 2023.

Catalepsy was founded in 2004. Rob Walden is the only founding member still with the band. In 2008, the band finished a tour with Hatebreed for their Live Dominance DVD release. They completed their first studio album, Iniquity, in January 2008. The album was released on May 13, 2008. In early 2008, the band recorded a music video for their song "Trust".
